Course Description

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a signed certificate.

In order to receive the certificate, you will need to:

  • Respond to all lesson prompts
  • Respond to at least 2 others per module
  • Complete all assignments/artifacts

This mini-course will provide a “deep dive” into Gmail, Calendar and Chrome. Participants will learn new resources to design instruction, engage students in learning and communicate with families. After learning how to utilize each application, teachers will be able to keep accurate records through the calendar, and create Google groups to engage in conversations and communicate with their colleagues.

By the end of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Set up Google groups for their students, colleagues and parents
  • Create different calendars to be shared with colleagues, students and parents to monitor learning
  • Access and use Chrome extensions that are useful to their practice and students
